En tant que photographe d'architecture, je suis attirée par les structures. Je suis inspirée par la simplicité et la précision des lignes, la variété des textures et les reflets créés par les interactions avec la lumière, qui révèlent de multiples possibilités…

J'ai commencé ce projet en 2017, qui a évolué en pointillés jusqu'en 2024.
Dans le cadre de mon processus créatif, je sélectionne soigneusement ces éléments dans mes photographies d'architecture.
Chaque pièce est prélevée en tenant compte de la manière dont elle contribuera à la composition émergente.
Mon intention est de créer un cadre imaginaire qui va au-delà de ma vision littérale de la structure.Au cours de ce dernier travail, une figure a émergé : une jeune femme en robe rouge.
Sa présence ajoute une dimension humaine et poétique au décor architectural, ouvrant sur un monde imaginaire.
Cette femme en rouge, à la fois mystérieuse et élégante, devient la clé d'un univers narratif personnel, où les lignes et les textures de l'architecture deviennent la toile de fond d'une histoire que chacun est libre de créer.

As an architectural photographer, I'm drawn to structures. I'm inspired by the simplicity and precision of lines, the variety of textures and the reflections created by interactions with light, which reveal multiple possibilities…

I started this project in 2017, which has evolved in dotted lines until 2024.As part of my creative process, I carefully select these elements from my architectural photographs.
Each piece is picked out with an eye to how it will contribute to the emerging composition.
My intention is to create an imaginary framework that goes beyond my literal vision of the structure.
In the course of this latest work, a figure emerged: a young woman in a red dress.
Her presence adds a human and poetic dimension to the architectural setting, opening up an imaginary world.
This woman in red, at once mysterious and elegant, becomes the key to a personal narrative universe, where the lines and textures of the architecture become the backdrop for a story that everyone is free to create.

La Série « FLEURS »
Un Photomontage
Pour cette série, j’ai choisi le sujet des fleurs qui pour le coup m’éloigne des structures architecturales qui obéissent à des règles mathématiques ancestrales.
Pour les fleurs, il me fallait aborder ce sujet sans attentes spécifiques pour juste observer comment elles allaient se composer les unes avec les autres.
Le défi consistait à travailler avec la matière organique et sauvage des fleurs, à me laisser guider par leurs formes et leurs lignes en commençant par une première étape - deux fleurs en noir et blanc dans un cadre, puis l’ajouter dans un autre plus grand, toujours en noir et blanc, avant d’introduire la couleur qui allait apporter une autre lecture et qui vient finalement se fondre dans une nouvelle composition où chaque cadre se superpose en créant une intéraction entre les fleurs.

For this series, I chose the subject of flowers, which takes me away from architectural structures that obey ancestral mathematical rules.
For the flowers, I had to approach the subject without any specific expectations, just to observe how they would compose themselves with each other.
The challenge was to work with the organic and wild material of flowers, to let myself be guided by their shapes and lines, starting with a first stage - two white flowers on a black background in a frame, then adding it to another larger one, still in black and white, before introducing the colour that would bring another interpretation and which finally blends into a new composition where each frame is superimposed, creating an interaction between the flowers.

Un Photomontage
En avril 2012, lors d'un voyage au Sri Lanka, je me suis rendue dans le nord de l’île avec un groupe d’amis et une unité de l’armée sri-lankaise, trois ans après la fin d’une guerre civile qui dura trente ans.

J’ai eu l’opportunité de visiter l’ancien camp de l’armée des Tigres Tamouls (LTTE), dirigée par V. Prabhakaran durant le conflit.
Le site était désert, plongé dans un silence lourd et pesant.
Sur la plage, un cargo partiellement démantelé et échoué. Plus loin, des monticules de vélos se mêlaient à la végétation, tout comme des bus éventrés, leurs portes et fenêtres arrachées.
Une piscine de plus de six mètres de profondeur, autrefois utilisée pour l’entraînement à la plongée sous-marine des soldats-marin-tigre, était désormais asséchée.
Des monticules de ferraille, triés par taille en prévision pour la fabrication de véhicules et d’armes, dont certains étaient encore présents sur le site.
À l’écart, un soldat m’indiqua une structure posée sur le sable, expliquant qu’il s’agissait d’un prototype de sous-marin.
Face à moi se dressait un magnifique squelette métallique.
J'ai mis ces images de côté pendant plusieurs années, quand finalement j'ai souhaité donner à ce projet de submersible inachevé, une autre interprétation, une autre dimension.

In April 2012, during a trip to Sri Lanka, I visited the north of the island with a group of friends and a Sri Lankan army unit, three years after the end of a thirty-year civil war.

I had the opportunity to visit the former camp of the Tamil Tiger Army (LTTE), led by V. Prabhakaran during the conflict.
The site was deserted, immersed in a heavy, ponderous silence.
On the beach, a partially dismantled cargo ship ran aground. Further on, mounds of bicycles mingled with the vegetation, as did gutted buses, their doors and windows torn off.
A six-meter-deep pool, once used for scuba-diving training by tiger soldiers, was now dry.
Mounds of scrap metal, sorted by size in preparation for the manufacture of vehicles and weapons, some of which were still present on the site.

Facing me was a beautiful metal skeleton!
I put these images on hold for several years, when finally I felt the need to give this unfinished submersible project another interpretation, another dimension.
